Okay; lets see…
My DJ name is Johnny Hook, I am a Professional Club DJ… I have played at some of the most famous clubs in Houston/Dallas; as well as in other cities… NYC/Long Island, NJ, Miami, Las Vegas (Hard Rock); etc. I have never played on the West Coast… I am pretty new to the LA/OC. I have been playing quite a bit in Houston and Dallas before I left Texas for the OC. I now live here in the area in Newport Beach… Engineer for the US Navy which is why I am here.
So you know… I mix/play/overlay ALL music genres, Party 60’s and 70’s., 80’s, 90’s, 00’s as well as today’s Hot Top 40 and HOTTEST House and EDM Music.
My mix overlays and phrasing are very tight as well as slamming and popping the songs together which can bring any crowd to life. My mixes are always non-repetitious. I mix on Serato DJ (Professional Industry Software) and control the mixes manually with traditional turntable(s).
