Throughout his journey, Erik Mishiyev, better known as DJ Shorte has performed at some of the HOTTEST spots from New York to Miami, Tampa Bay to LA, from South Africa to Hawaii, London and beyond, all while interviewing some of the biggest celebs and multi-platinum music stars such as Khloe Kardashian, Pitbull, Neyo and David Blaine just to name a few… for his infamous TV program “The Short-e Show”. He’s an entrepreneur at heart and is the CEO and founder of Hot4ever Enterprises which specializes in events, music, fashion & teleivision.
Shorte’s energy and great sense of style are second to none and it always shows in the booth, on stage or at a video shoot. His DJ sets are Top 100 pop music mashups with the ability to cater to all types of crowds and venues. Shorte truly puts on a show by utilizing his mixing and mic skills to keep the crowd drinking and dancing all night, in return creating an unforgettable experience for all those in attendance and a profitable night for the promoters & venue owners.
DJ Shorte has on-air experience on radio and television, making him more appealing than most. In 2014, he was named the afternoon jock on FOX Radio 94.1FM in New York and hosted “Miami Music Television” that aired on ABC (WPLG) in South Florida, which was syndicated to over 40 million households on various digital TV networks.
His mixes and videos are viral on YouTube where to date he has accumulated over 59,000,000 (million) lifetime views. As a matter of fact, YouTube/Google offered him a partner show deal after they discovered his exclusive content. Throughout his 15-year career, Shorte has been featured in a wide variety clubs, media outlets, TV shows, newspapers, magazines and more.
In 2015 Shorte headlined at the world famous “Supper Club” in Hollywood and appeared twice as a special guest DJ on P. Diddy’s network “Revolt TV” which aired nationally on Time Warner Cable. He has many projects in the works and continues to conduct business bi-coastal which helps him stay 2 steps ahead of his competition.
Most recently in 2016, DJ Shorte landed an internal sponsorship deal with American Airlines that will send him on a 50 city worldwide “Hot Spots 360” tour. He has also completed his highly anticipated TV show pilot and plans to pitch it to various cable networks. Under his independent label, Shorte has filmed 2 music videos and recorded 3 studio singles which will be released on iTunes in July of 2016 while he continues to DJ, pursue a major record deal and land syndication for his self-produced TV program(s).
